That being said, I do not prospect Lukashenko's Belarus to have a long lasting future of that kind Belarus experienced over the past 20 years under Lukashenko. From a systemic geopolitical point of view it is very unlikely that the Belarusian regime of Lukashenko will survive the coming months or few years, especially when having in mind how the different regimes around the globe struggle to prevail in further oppressing its people who got in contact with the sweet taste of freedom.
Putting into systemic perspective that even the very isolationist regime of Myanmar has recently given up its policies of isolation and opened up its borders for the people and economies of the free world as well as the dynamics which has been set free through the Arab Spring, causing the fall of several of the regimes in North Africa and the Middle East or at least having led to the shake-up of century old archaic oppressive structures, I do not estimate that the Belarus regime is able to prolong with its oppressive policies but it will be wiped out by the wind of change like many other dictatorships before.
